You are almost on your way to Santa Fe! Sign up and payment in advance for this tour will include round trip rail transportation, a box lunch, and a voucher to exchange at the O'Keeffe Museum for admission. Participants will also have time on their own to visit the nearby Santa Fe plaza and other attractions in the area, though participants will be held responsible to return on time on their own to the depot for our train back to downtown Albuquerque.
On Saturday, February 13, we will depart the Hyatt lobby promptly at 8:30 a.m. to walk to the train depot a few blocks away from the hotel. Box lunches will be distributed to participants during the lobby check-in that morning commencing at 8:15 a.m. We will leave the Albuquerque Downtown depot at approximately 9:36 am and return leaving the Santa Fe depot at 4:32 p.m. to arrive in Albuquerque at approximately 6:03 p.m. We will then walk back to the hotel.
In Santa Fe, we will walk from the depot to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. Museum docents will be present to guide us through this extraordinary collection. You will be on your own to pace yourself through the museum and to decide how to spend the remainder of your time in Santa Fe before returning to the depot to catch the 4:32 p.m. train.
Trip registration will be limited and require advanced payment. Participants will receive train tickets and train departing/returning times with their registration materials available at our conference registration table. A voucher will also be provided to exchange at the museum for your admission ticket. The SWPCA will not be held responsible nor replace lost tickets and/or vouchers.
All conference participants should pick up registration materials at our registration table prior to attending panels or presenting their own work. The last chance to pick up materials for those having paid for this tour will be Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The SWPCA will not be responsible for those who fail to pick up registration and tour materials by the Friday, February 12, 2010, 3:00 p.m. deadline.
Advice: Bring your own water, snacks, and wear comfortable shoes with warm socks. The weather in Santa Fe may be 10-20 degrees colder than Albuquerque so dress in layers for winter weather.

The SWPCA make no guarantees or other agreements other than to provide those items paid for in trip registration (round trip rail ticket, box lunch, and museum admission voucher for specified times and date). The SWPCA will not be held responsible nor replace lost tickets and vouchers. The SWPCA will also not be responsible for those who fail to pick up registration and tour materials by the Friday, February 12, 2010, 3:00 p.m. deadline.
